BLOWER UNIT REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the No. 1 damper servo sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

      *a Cutout Part

      Set the No. 1 damper servo sub-assembly so that the tooth of the gear engages with the cutout part as shown in the illustration to install the plate.

    3. Attach the 3 claws to install the plate.

    4. Attach the 4 claws to install the upper blower case.

    5. Install the 3 screws.

  2. INSTALL BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. When reusing the blower motor with fan sub-assembly:


      1. Install a new heater packing to the blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

        Tech Tips

        For details, refer to the instruction manual provided with the part.

    2. Install the blower with fan motor sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

    3. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL AIR REFINER ELEMENT


    1. Install the air refiner element.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the air filter sub-assembly.
