BLOWER UNIT DISASSEMBLY

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE AIR REFINER ELEMENT


    1. A01FDKR

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the air filter sub-assembly.

    2. A01FDQX

      Remove the air refiner element.

  2. REMOVE BLOWER WITH FAN MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FD88

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 screws and blower with fan motor sub-assembly.

    3. When reusing the blower motor with fan sub-assembly:


      1. Remove the heater packing from the blower motor with fan sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FEP9E01

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the 4 claws and remove the upper blower case.

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the plate.

      Remove the 2 screws and remove the No. 1 damper servo sub-assembly.
