  2. ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION

  3. BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET LIQUID REFRIGERANT IN YOUR EYES OR ON YOUR SKIN

If liquid refrigerant gets in your eyes or on your skin:

    1. Wash the area with lots of cold water.

      CAUTION:

Do not rub your eyes or skin.

    2. Apply clean petroleum jelly to the skin.

    3. Go immediately to a hospital or see a physician for professional treatment.

  4. NEVER HEAT CONTAINER OR EXPOSE THE CONTAINER TO AN OPEN FLAME

  5. BE CAREFUL NOT TO DROP CONTAINER OR APPLY PHYSICAL SHOCKS TO IT

  6. DO NOT OPERATE COMPRESSOR WITHOUT ENOUGH REFRIGERANT IN REFRIGERANT SYSTEM

If there is not enough refrigerant in the A/C system, oil lubrication will be insufficient and the compressor may be damaged.

Necessary care should be taken to avoid this.

  7. DO NOT OPEN HIGH PRESSURE MANIFOLD VALVE WHILE COMPRESSOR IS OPERATING

    1. Open and close only the low pressure valve.

If the high pressure valve is opened, refrigerant flows in the reverse direction causing the charging cylinder to rupture.

  8. BE CAREFUL NOT TO OVERCHARGE SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

If the system is overcharged with refrigerant, it causes problems such as insufficient cooling, poor fuel economy, engine overheating, etc.

  9. DO NOT OPERATE ENGINE AND COMPRESSOR WITH NO REFRIGERANT

    CAUTION:

Doing so may damage inside the compressor because the compressor parts always move regardless of whether the A/C system is turned on or off.

  10. GENERAL PRECAUTION

    1. While using the battery during inspection, do not bring the positive (+) and negative (-) tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.

  11. CHECK MEMORY CALL FUNCTION

    1. Memory registration.

      Note

Be sure to have all the transmitters prepared and available before performing registration.

      1. Lock the doors using a transmitter before performing registration.

      2. Sit in the driver seat while holding only the transmitter to be registered.

      3. Start the engine and turn on the air conditioning.

      4. Turn the engine switch off.

        Tech Tips

It is necessary to register each transmitter individually.

    2. Check memory call function.

      1. With the identification code of the transmitter registered in memory, check that the air conditioning operation is restored to its previous state when the start the engine.

        Tech Tips

The operation state differs depending on the registered transmitter.
