POWER SEAT CONTROL ECU (for Sports Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the position control ECU assembly with the 3 bolts.

    2. Connect the 4 connectors.

    3. Attach the 2 clamps to install the front seat wire connector housing.

    4. Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamps.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  3. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

  4. INSPECT SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM

    Click here

  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

    Note

    Under any of the following conditions, perform initialization of the position control ECU assembly.

    for LHD: Click here

    for RHD: Click here


    • The position control ECU assembly is replaced.

    • The power seat motor assembly is inspected or replaced.

    • The front seat adjuster is inspected or replaced.

    • The lumbar support adjuster assembly is inspected or replaced.

    • The front seatback support is inspected or replaced.

  6. INSPECT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

  9. ENABLE AUTOAWAY/RETURN FUNCTION


    1. Restore the autoaway/return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Click here.
