TRANSMISSION WIRE INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the transmission wire.

    2. Install the transmission wire with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

      Connect the transmission wire connector.

      Tech Tips

      Push up the lever until the claw of the transmission wire connector makes a connection sound.

  2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION WIRE


    1. Connect the 9 connectors to the shift solenoid valves.

    2. Coat the ATF temperature sensor O-ring with ATF.

    3. Install the ATF temperature sensor and the temperature sensor clamp with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01FJ42E01

      Install the 2 valve body wire harness clamps with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      for Bolt A
      6.4 N*m  { 65 kgf*cm, 57 in.*lbf }
      for Bolt B
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY


    1. Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the valve body oil strainer assembly.

    2. Install the valve body oil strainer assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Magnet

      Install the 3 magnets in the automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly.

    2. Install a new transmission oil pan gasket and the automatic transmission oil pan sub-assembly oil pan to the automatic transmission assembly with the 20 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 65 in.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL NO.1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01FJ1ME01

      Install the No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket sub-assembly with the 4 bolts and 2 new nuts.

      Torque:
      for Bolt A
      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
      for Nut B
      39 N*m  { 398 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Turn the nut labeled B while holding the bolt.

  6. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER


    1. Install the No. 2 engine under cover with the 4 screws and 2 grommets.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE


    1. Install the front suspension member brace with the clip and 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      52 N*m  { 530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf }
