LANE-KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM Indicator Circuit
DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU detects a lane-keeping assist main switch signal, it sends the signal to the combination meter through CAN communication. Then the LKA indicator light turns on.

The LKA indicator light circuit uses CAN communication. If there is a malfunction in this circuit, check for DTCs in the CAN communication system before troubleshooting this circuit.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Note
When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (DRIFT FROM THE LANE)

Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the LKA indicator light illuminates Click here.
Combination Meter Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Drift From The Lane LKA indicator light ON/OFF - OK LKA indicator light turns on / turns off.
