  1. CONDITIONS FOR MOMENTARY STOP

      When control is stopped momentarily, "LKA not available" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and a "Pong" sound is heard. This occurs under the following conditions:


      • A high lane recognition camera sensor assembly temperature is detected.

      • Power steering system operation is limited.

    Tech Tips

    When the lane-keeping assist main switch is turned off and then on again, if the system recovers and the conditions to stop lane-keeping assist control are not met, the lane-keeping assist system is reactivated.

  2. STOP DUE TO SYSTEM MALFUNCTION

      When a system malfunction is detected, the LKA indicator turns off, "Check LKA System" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and a "Pong" sound is heard.

      Tech Tips

      After the vehicle is stopped and then the engine is restarted, if the lane-keeping assist system is confirmed to be normal when the vehicle is driven at a speed at which the lane-keeping assist system operates and the lane-keeping assist main switch is turned on, the lane-keeping assist system can operate again.
