DESCRIPTION

When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU. Also, when the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it receives the country specification information from the combination meter. When the country specification information in the sensor and ECU do not match, DTC C1A0A is output.

      Tech Tips

      The country specification information stored in the driving support ECU is determined by the country specification information stored in the main body ECU. If the country specification information for the millimeter wave radar sensor matches the vehicle, the country specification information for the main body ECU and driving support ECU is incorrect and the main body ECU and driving support ECU need to be replaced.

      Note

      When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.
