If the following conditions are detected while the dynamic radar cruise control system is in operation, the system clears the stored vehicle speed in the driving support ECU and cancels the dynamic radar cruise control operation (Constant speed control mode and vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode).

The condition on the left is recovered from (RESUME operation is possible after recovery) or the cruise control main switch is turned on again. |
When the following condition is met, the stored vehicle speed is cleared and cruise control operation is canceled, as the vehicle may be excessively loaded or the stored vehicle speed may be too high (constant speed control mode).
The actual vehicle speed is below the stored vehicle speed by 16 km/h (10 mph) or more (SET operation is possible).
When the following condition is met, the stored vehicle speed is maintained and cruise control operation is canceled (vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode and constant speed control mode).
The actual vehicle speed drops below the low speed limit (SET and RESUME operations are possible).
When the following condition is met, the stored vehicle speed is cleared and cruise control operation is canceled. Control is prohibited until the cruise control main switch is turned off and then on again.
There is a throttle body malfunction.
