DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives information that there is a malfunction in the millimeter wave radar sensor, DTC C1A10 is output.

C1A10 While engine switch is on (IG), driving support ECU receives information that there is malfunction in millimeter wave radar sensor for 1 second.

When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the front sensor beam axis must be performed Click here.

  1. REPLACE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly Click here.

  2. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Adjust the front millimeter wave radar sensor Click here.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs Click here.

    2. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    3. Recheck for DTCs Click here.

      OK
      DTC C1A10 is not output.

      Note

      When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization Click here. If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.
