  1. INSPECT FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly)

      Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Float position is F (upper) 6.5 to 8.5 Ω
      Float position is E (lower) 194.4 to 199.4 Ω

      If the value is not as specified, replace the fuel sender gauge assembly.

  2. INSPECT NO. 2 FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

      (No. 2 Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly)

      Check that the float moves smoothly between F and E.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Float position is F (upper) 6.5 to 8.5 Ω
      Float position is E (lower) 210.1 to 216.1 Ω

      If the value is not as specified, replace the No. 2 fuel sender gauge assembly.
