REAR SHOCK ABSORBER DISPOSAL


  1. DISPOSE OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

      Fully extend the rear shock absorber rod.

    2. Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder between A and B shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside.

      CAUTION:


      • Be careful as the cylinder is a high-pressure gas type which is at a higher pressure than normal shock absorbers. Also be careful as the pressure in the cylinder becomes even higher at high temperature.

      • Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about. Always use the proper safety equipment.

      Note

      The gas is colorless, odorless and nonpoisonous.
