DESCRIPTION

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1240 The yaw rate sensor identification information stored in the skid control ECU is not consistent with the yaw rate sensor identification information sent via CAN communication continuously for 1 second or more.

  • Yaw rate sensor

  • Skid Control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

When replacing the brake actuator assembly or yaw rate sensor, perform zero point calibration and store system information Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE SENSOR)


    1. Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate sensor is correct.

      OK
      Yaw rate sensor installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.

    NG

    REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR Click here

    OK

  2. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Check if the same DTC is recorded Click here.
