LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER


    1. A01ETWR

      Remove the 13 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01ESYC

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Remove the 4 nuts and rear light assembly.

  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Smart Entry and Start System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. w/ Rear View Monitor System:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      Remove the 5 nuts.

      A01EVDL Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    5. Disengage the 3 clips and remove the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    6. Remove the clip (back door outside garnish clip) and 2 clips from the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

    7. Remove the 5 gaskets from the luggage compartment door outside garnish sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH COVER (w/o Smart Entry and Start System)

      Remove the luggage electrical key switch cover.

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Smart Entry and Start System)

      Remove the luggage door opening switch assembly.

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR EMBLEM

      *1 Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the luggage compartment door emblem.

    2. Using a moulding remover, peel off the double-sided tape and disengage the 2 pins to remove the luggage compartment door emblem.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  8. REMOVE REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System)


    1. A01ETDQ

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the rear television camera assembly.

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH


    1. A01EW5E

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 2 luggage compartment door outside garnish.

  10. REMOVE UPPER BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR


    1. A01ETUN

      Remove the upper back door garnish moulding protector.

  11. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR LH


    1. A01ETQY

      Remove the back door outside garnish protector LH.

  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
