FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01EWH2

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side retainer LH.

    2. Install the bolt and screw.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EU69

      Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      61 N*m  { 622 kgf*cm, 45 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 5 clamps.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01EXD0

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  5. INSTALL LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

      Engage the hook.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the lower front bumper cover.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH


    1. A01EV8V

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper hole cover LH with the screw.

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01EYZ2

      Engage the 18 claws to install the No. 1 lower radiator grille.

  10. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM ASSEMBLY


    1. A01ETQK

      Engage the guide and 3 claws to install the radiator grille emblem assembly.

  11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01EYQN

      Engage the 10 claws to install the radiator grille sub-assembly.

  12. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER


    1. A01EWGZ

      Engage the claw and install the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  13. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Engage the 2 guides to temporarily install the fog light assembly.

    2. Install the fog light assembly with the screw.

      Torque:
      1.6 N*m  { 16 kgf*cm, 14 in.*lbf }

    3. for TMC Made:


      1. Connect the connector.

  14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper assembly.

      Note


      • Do not damage the front bumper with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

      • Securely install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer so that there are no gaps between the retainer and surface of the front bumper.

      Tech Tips


      • When installing the retainer, align the keyhole and snap as shown in the illustration.

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

      Note

      Push the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the outside of the bumper when there is a gap between the retainer and the bumper surface. In this case, do not push on the ultrasonic sensor.

    2. for TMC Made:

        Connect the connector.

  17. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (for TMC Made)


    1. w/ Fog Light without TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. w/ Fog Light and TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. A01ET71

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the 2 connectors to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  18. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Engage the 5 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.

  19. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Engage the guide to the front bumper assembly, then push the tab (A) and engage the claw as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the bolt.

      Torque:
      1.1 N*m  { 11 kgf*cm, 10 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the headlight cleaner hose and engage the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  20. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  22. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
