  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD LH

      Remove the rear bumper pad LH.

  2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD RH

      Remove the rear bumper pad RH.

  3. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01EVMB

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the reflex reflector assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all connectors.

      Disengage the clamp.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

    2. Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 2 luggage room wire.

  6. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor clips.

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

      This illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the rear bumper assembly.

      Tech Tips

      This illustration is for the LH side. The orientation for the RH side is the opposite of the LH side.

  9. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER


    1. Remove the 8 outside moulding retainers.

    2. Disengage the 8 guides to remove the lower rear bumper cover from the rear bumper cover.

  10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01EZ0V

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE WHEEL HOUSE REINFORCEMENT LH


    1. A01ETDT

      Remove the screw and nut.

    2. Disengage the clip to remove the wheel house reinforcement LH.

  13. REMOVE WHEEL HOUSE REINFORCEMENT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 6 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
