REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      *A w/ Rear Fog Light

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly LH)

      Disconnect the T7 rear light assembly LH connector.

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → T7-2 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → T7-3 (E)

      		 Taillight comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light lens and body LH or rear light socket and wire LH.

    3. Apply battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on. (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → T7-4 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → T7-3 (E)

      		 Rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light bulb or rear light socket and wire LH.

    4. Apply battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → T7-1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → T7-3 (E)

      		 Back-up light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the back-up light bulb or rear light socket and wire LH.

  2. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    2. Apply battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

      OK

      Battery negative (-) → T1-3 (E)

      		 Taillight comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light lens and body RH or rear light socket and wire RH.

    3. Apply battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → T1-4 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → T1-3 (E)

      		 Rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light bulb or rear light socket and wire RH.

    4. Apply battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → T1-1 (B)

      Battery negative (-) → T1-3 (E)

      		 Back-up light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the back-up light bulb or rear light socket and wire RH.
