REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT PACKING

      Remove the rear combination light packing.

      Note


      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old packing from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed packing. Be sure to install a new rear combination light packing to prevent water ingress.

  2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CORD

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector to remove the rear combination light cord.

  3. REMOVE REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB

      Turn the rear turn signal light socket with the rear turn signal light bulb as shown in the illustration, to remove them as a unit.

    2. Remove the rear turn signal light bulb from the rear turn signal light socket.

  4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER UPPER SIDE RETAINER


    1. A01EVX9

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the rear bumper upper side retainer as shown in the illustration.
