REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Rear Combination Light Assembly LH)

      Disconnect the T8 and T16 rear combination light assembly LH connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T8-1 (B) - T8-2 (E) Turn signal switch in neutral position Below 1 V
      Turn signal switch in left turn position 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      T16-2 (TL) - T9-3 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      T16-1 (B) - T9-3 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      Disconnect the T13 and T18 rear combination light assembly RH connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      T13-1 (B) - T13-2 (E) Turn signal switch in neutral position Below 1 V
      Turn signal switch in right turn position 11 to 14 V (60 to 120 times per minute)
      T18-2 (TL) - T12-3 (E) Light control switch off Below 1 V
      Light control switch in tail position 11 to 14 V
      T18-1 (B) - T12-3 (E) Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.
