DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the inner rear view mirror assembly (automatic high beam sensor).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the S2 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      S2-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      S2-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      S2-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    OK
