DESCRIPTION

When the front power seat switch LH (w/ Memory) does not receive a sensor signal despite upward or downward movement of the front of the seat cushion by power seat motor operation, this DTC is stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (FRONT VERTICAL MOTOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Driver Seat / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Disconnect the e9 front vertical motor connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Check if the seat cushion moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the front vertical motor connector terminals.
