INSIDE HANDLE LIGHT INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)


    1. Engage the claw and 3 clamps, and install the front door inside handle illumination light assembly.

  2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (for Front Door)

      Install the front door inner glass weatherstrip.

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)


    1. A01ESXX

      Engage the 2 claws and guide, and install the front door inside handle sub-assembly to the front door trim board sub-assembly.

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)

      *1 Front Door Inside Locking Cable Assembly
      *2 Front Door Lock Remote Control Cable Assembly

      Connect the front door lock remote control cable assembly and front door inside locking cable assembly.

    2. Connect the connector.

      *1 Reference Boss

      Engage the front door trim board sub-assembly with the 4 claws and reference boss as shown in the illustration.

    4. A01EUAW

      Engage the 10 clips and install the front door trim board sub-assembly.

    5. Install the 3 screws.

    6. If protective tape has been applied, remove it.

  5. INSTALL COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)


    1. Connect the connector.

      Engage the claw to install the courtesy light assembly.

  6. INSTALL FRONT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)

      Engage the 2 guides, 3 clips and 7 claws, and install the front armrest assembly.

  7. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Door)

  8. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Door)

    for Front Passenger Side: Click here

  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (for Front Door)

      Engage the 3 clips to install the front door lower frame bracket garnish.

  10. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (for Front Door)


    1. A01ETW7

      Engage the 3 claws to install the front door inside handle bezel plug.

  11. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)


    1. Engage the claw and 3 clamps, and install the rear door inside handle illumination light assembly.

  12. INSTALL REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (for Rear Door)

      Install the rear door inner glass weatherstrip.

  13. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)


    1. A01ESXX

      Engage the guide and 2 claws to install the rear door inside handle sub-assembly to the rear door trim board sub-assembly.

  14. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)


    1. A01EWKA

      Install the No. 1 door scuff plate clamp as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Rear Door Inside Locking Cable Assembly
      *2 Rear Door Lock Remote Control Cable Assembly

      Connect the rear door lock remote control cable assembly and rear door inside locking cable assembly.

    3. Connect the connector.

      *1 Reference Boss

      Engage the rear door trim board sub-assembly with the 4 claws and reference boss as shown in the illustration.

    5. A01EXGD

      Engage the 8 clips and install the rear door trim board sub-assembly.

    6. Install the 3 screws.

    7. If protective tape has been applied, remove it.

  15. INSTALL REAR ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)


    1. A01EYTY

      Engage the 2 guides, 3 clips and 7 claws to install the rear armrest assembly.

  16. INSTALL REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Rear Door)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. A01EWWS

      Engage the 4 guides, 2 clips and 5 claws to install the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.

  17. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (for Rear Door)

      Engage the 3 claws to install the rear door inside handle bezel plug.
