INSIDE HANDLE LIGHT REMOVAL

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (for Front Door)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and remove the front door inside handle bezel plug as shown in the illustration.

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (for Front Door)

      Disengage the 3 clips and remove the front door lower frame bracket garnish.

  3. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Door)

  4. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Front Door)

  5. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 clips, 7 claws and 2 guides and remove the front armrest assembly.

  6. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the courtesy light assembly.

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)

      Put protective tape around the front door panel.

    2. A01EUAW

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Using a clip remover, disengage the 10 clips.

      *2 Front Door Inner Glass Weatherstrip

      Pull out the front door trim board sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow as shown in the illustration.

    5. Disengage the reference boss from the front door panel.

    6. Raise the front door trim board sub-assembly to remove the front door trim board sub-assembly together with the front door inner glass weatherstrip.

    7. Disconnect the connector.

      Disconnect the front door lock remote control cable assembly and front door inside locking cable assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)


    1. A01ESXX

      Disengage the 2 claws and guides, and remove the front door inside handle sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (for Front Door)

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the front door inner glass weatherstrip from the front door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Front Door)

      Disengage the 3 clamps and claw, and remove the front door inside handle illumination light assembly.

  11. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG (for Rear Door)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear door inside handle bezel plug as shown in the illustration.

  12. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL (for Rear Door)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 clips, 5 claws and 4 guides as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly with rear door armrest base panel.

  13. REMOVE REAR ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 clips, 7 claws and 2 guides and remove the rear armrest assembly.

  14. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)

      Put protective tape around the rear door panel.

    2. A01EXGD

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Using a clip remover, disengage the 8 clips.

      *1 Reference Boss
      *2 Rear Door Inner Glass Weatherstrip

      Pull out the rear door trim board sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow as shown in the illustration.

    5. Disengage the reference boss from the rear door panel.

    6. Raise the rear door trim board sub-assembly to remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly together with the rear door inner glass weatherstrip.

    7. A01EUXT

      Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable assembly and rear door inside locking cable assembly.

    8. Disconnect the connector.

      *1 Screwdriver

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the No. 1 door scuff plate clamp from the rear door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)


    1. A01ESXX

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide, and remove the rear door inside handle sub-assembly.

  16. REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP (for Rear Door)

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the rear door inner glass weatherstrip from the rear door trim board sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  17. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for Rear Door)

      Disengage the 3 clamps and claw, and remove the rear door inside handle illumination light assembly.
