      Component without harness connected

      (Spot Light Assembly)

      Inspect the rear personal lights.


      1. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4 (B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (E) or 2 (CTY).

        Result

        4 (B) - 1 (E) Rear personal light switches off Rear personal light LH and RH do not come on
        Rear personal light switch LH on Rear personal light LH comes on
        Rear personal light switch RH on Rear personal light RH comes on
        4 (B) - 2 (CTY) Rear personal light switches off Rear personal light LH and RH comes on
        Rear personal light switch LH on Rear personal light LH does not come on
        Rear personal light switch RH on Rear personal light RH does not come on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or spot light assembly.

    2. Inspect the rear spot light.


      1. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 (RILL) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 1 (E).

        Result
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        3 (RILL) - 1 (E) Rear spot light switch off Rear spot light does not come on
        Rear spot light switch on Rear spot light comes on

        If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
