DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER (w/o Smart Entry and Start System) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Type A)

      Install a new transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR1620) with the positive (+) side facing upward, as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Do not bend the transmitter battery electrode during installation.

      • Keep the inside of the transmitter housing cover interior free of dust and oil.

      • When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

  2. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER PACKING (for Type A)

      Install the door control transmitter packing as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER (for Type A)

      Install the transmitter housing cover as shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Type B)

      Install a transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2016) with the positive (+) side facing upward, as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Do not bend the transmitter battery electrode during installation.

      • Keep the inside of the transmitter housing cover interior free of dust and oil.

      • When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

      Install the cover.

  5. INSTALL DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Type B)


    1. A01ETYT

      Install the door control transmitter module set sub-assembly into the transmitter housing case.

  6. INSTALL TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER (for Type B)

      Install the transmitter housing cover to the transmitter housing case.

    2. Check that the transmitter LED illuminates when the switch is pressed.
