Insert a precision screwdriver into the gap, and turn the screwdriver to remove the transmitter housing cover.

REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER PACKING (for Type A)

Insert a precision screwdriver into the door control transmitter packing and turn the screwdriver to remove the door control transmitter packing.

REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Type A)

Insert a precision screwdriver into the gap and gently remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR1620).
Note
Do not push the terminals with your finger.
Do not forcibly pry up the transmitter battery as the terminals may be damaged.
Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Moisture may cause rust.
Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may interfere with proper operation.
When replacing the transmitter battery, before starting work, remove static electricity that has built up in the body by touching, for example, the vehicle to prevent the electrical transmitter from being damaged.

Using a precision screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, pry open the transmitter housing cover.
Note
Do not forcibly pry the cover.

REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Type B)

Using a precision screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the door control transmitter module set sub-assembly from the transmitter housing case.
Note
Handle each part with care as they are delicate electrical parts.

REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY (for Type B)
Twist the coin in the direction of the arrow in the illustration, and remove the transmitter battery cover.
Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery: CR2016).
Note
Do not push the terminals with your finger.
Do not forcibly pry up the transmitter battery. The terminals may be damaged.
Do not touch the transmitter battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter. It may interfere with proper operation.
