  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following system after the cable is reconnected.

  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. When using the intelligent tester with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot:

      Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the intelligent tester and the vehicle begins.

    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to ON.
