DESCRIPTION

The navigation receiver assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REVERSE SIGNAL)


    1. Disconnect the I67 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I67-2 (REV) - Body ground

      Ignition switch ON

      Shift lever in R

      		 11 to 14 V
      I67-2 (REV) - Body ground

      Ignition switch ON

      Shift lever in any position other than R

      		 Below 1 V

    NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the I67 navigation receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the E85 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I67-2 (REV) - E85-2 (RL) Always Below 1 Ω
      I67-2 (REV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the E85 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      E85-1 (RB) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
