    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Click here.

  2. CHECK SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function).

      No malfunctions are present in the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function).

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Door lock settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      Tech Tips

      These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed manually. In a following step, a manual procedure will be used.


      1. Check the customize parameters list for the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Click here.

    3. Manually change and confirm that it was possible to successfully change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the multi-display screen.
