VSC OFF SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (VSC OFF Switch (Vehicle Stability Control Switch))

      Make sure that there is no looseness in the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the VSC OFF switch (vehicle stability control switch) connector.

    3. Check both the connector case and the terminal for deformation and corrosion.

      OK
      No deformation or corrosion.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      6 (+) - 3 (E) Switch pushed in Below 1 Ω
      6 (+) - 3 (E) Switch not pushed in 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the VSC OFF switch (vehicle stability control switch).
