YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR (for Separate Type Yaw Rate Sensor) REMOVAL


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR

      Disconnect the connector from the yaw rate sensor.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and yaw rate sensor.

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Smart Entry and Start System)


    1. Disengage the clamp to remove the No. 3 indoor electrical key antenna assembly from the yaw rate sensor bracket.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the No. 3 indoor electrical key antenna assembly.

      Note

      Be careful when removing the No. 3 indoor electrical key antenna assembly. If the antenna is dropped, replace it with a new one.

  6. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET

      Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the wire harnesses.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor bracket.
