CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET INSTALLATION

INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
1. Install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly LH with the 2 nuts.
  
  Torque:
  
  18 N*m { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
1. Install the child restraint seat anchor bracket sub-assembly RH with the 2 nuts.
  
  Torque:
  
  18 N*m { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Reclining Seat Type)
1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
  
  Torque:
  
  18 N*m { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
3. Engage the 2 hooks to install the cover.
4. Connect the 2 rear seat belts to the 2 rear seat shoulder belt guides.
5. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
  1. Connect each connector and clamp to the child restraint anchor bracket sub-assembly LH.
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER (for Reclining Seat Type)
1. Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seatback covers.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Reclining Seat Type)
1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
  
  Torque:
  
  18 N*m { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
3. Engage the 2 hooks to install the cover.
4. Connect the rear seat belt to the rear seat shoulder belt guide.
5. w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag:
  1. Connect each connector and clamp to the child restraint anchor bracket sub-assembly RH.
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER (for Reclining Seat Type)
1. Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seatback covers.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Reclining Seat Type)
1. Engage the claw to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook.
  
  Note
  
  Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Reclining Seat Type)
1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. w/ Seat Heater System:
  1. Connect the 2 seat heater connectors.
3. Engage the 2 hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
4. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.
  
  Note
  
  When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the seat cushion assembly.
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)
1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  18 N*m { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
3. Engage the fastener as shown in the illustration.
4. Raise the rear seatback assembly LH.
5. Connect the rear seat outer belt to the rear seat center shoulder belt guide.
INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)
INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (for Fold Down Seat Type)
1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.
  
  Torque:
  
  18 N*m { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
3. Engage the fastener as shown in the illustration.
4. Raise the rear seatback assembly RH.
INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK (for Fold Down Seat Type)
1. Engage the claw to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook.
  
  Note
  
  Rear seat cushion lock hooks must not be reused.

  Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Fold Down Seat Type)
1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.
  
  Note
  
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Engage the 2 hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly to the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
3. Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is firmly installed.

  When installing the rear seat cushion assembly, make sure that the seat belt buckles are not under the rear seat cushion assembly.
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)
