REAR SEATBACK HEATER (for Fold Down Seat Type) INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (REAR SEATBACK HEATER SUB-ASSEMBLY) (for LH Side)


    1. A01EY0W

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover (rear seatback heater sub-assembly) with 6 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover (rear seatback heater sub-assembly).

  2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01EYTJ

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    3. A01ESYX

      Engage the 2 hooks.

    4. A01EV7B

      Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

    5. A01EU9H

      Engage the 2 hooks to install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL (for LH Side)


    1. A01EWON

      Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seatback upper lock bezel.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE (for LH Side)


    1. A01EVK3

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat center shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (REAR SEATBACK HEATER SUB-ASSEMBLY) (for RH Side)


    1. A01EYRF

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover (rear seatback heater sub-assembly) to the separate type rear seatback pad with 8 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover (rear seatback heater sub-assembly).

    2. A01EW8W

      Using hog ring pliers, install 7 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover (rear seatback heater sub-assembly).

  6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

    2. A01EYQM

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. A01EUCA

      Engage the 2 hooks.

    4. A01EUG5

      Using hog ring pliers, install the rear separate type seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame with 7 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

    5. A01EWEA

      Engage the 2 hooks to install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL (for RH Side)


    1. A01ETMS

      Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seatback upper lock bezel.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER (for RH Side)


    1. A01ETV6

      Install the rear seatback hinge cover as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)


    1. A01EYK3

      Engage the 2 claws to install the bush.

    2. A01EWRL

      Engage the guide.

    3. Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the bolt and washer.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

  10. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST CAP (for RH Side)


    1. A01EXN4

      Engage the 3 claws to install the No. 1 seat armrest cap.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01ET30

      Engage the fastener as shown in the illustration.

    5. Raise the rear seatback assembly LH.

    6. Connect the rear seat outer belt assembly to the rear seat center shoulder belt guide.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }
    4. A01EYBB

      Engage the fastener as shown in the illustration.

    5. Raise the rear seatback assembly RH.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
