REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL REMOVAL

  2. REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley.

      Remove the 8 bolts, the front drive plate spacer, the drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly, and the rear drive plate spacer.

  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE OIL SEAL

      *a Cut Position

      Using a knife, cut off the lip of the rear engine oil seal.

    2. Using a screwdriver, pry out the rear engine oil seal.

      Note


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Do not damage the surface of the rear engine oil seal press fit hole or the crankshaft.
