POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Rear Power Window RH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH

DESCRIPTION

If the rear RH side manual UP / DOWN function does not operate, a malfunction may exist in the power window regulator motor assembly RH, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side), power window regulator master switch assembly or wire harness.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the I1 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I1-3 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the I1 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH Side)


    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) Click here.

    2. Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH - POWER WINDOW MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the I1 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

    2. Disconnect the I2 power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance (Check for Open)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I1-4 (U) - I2-1 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      I1-1 (D) - I2-2 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard resistance (Check for Short)
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I1-4 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I1-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH (for Rear RH Side)


    1. Remove the power window regulator motor assembly RH Click here.

    2. Inspect the power window regulator motor assembly RH Click here.

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW SWITCH)


    1. Disconnect the G1 or H1 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the I1 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for rear RH side) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance (Check for Open)
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G1-16 (U) - I1-5 (SU) Always Below 1 Ω
      G1-15 (D) - I1-2 (SD) Always Below 1 Ω
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H1-10 (U) - I1-5 (SU) Always Below 1 Ω
      H1-18 (D) - I1-2 (SD) Always Below 1 Ω
      Standard resistance (Check for Short)
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G1-15 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G1-16 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H1-18 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
