POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM Front Passenger Side Power Window does not Operate with Front Passenger Side Power Window Switch

DESCRIPTION

If the passenger side manual UP / DOWN function does not operate, a malfunction may exist in the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side), power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side), power window regulator master switch assembly or wire harness.

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE)

      (Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly (for Front Passenger Side))

      Disconnect the H2*1 or G2*2 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.


      • *1: for RHD

      • *2: for LHD

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H2-3 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      G2-3 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Remove the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) Click here.

    2. Inspect the power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH - POWER WINDOW MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the H2*1 or G2*2 power window regulator switch assembly (for front passenger side) connector.

    2. Disconnect the H4*1 or G4*2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger side) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.


      • *1: for RHD

      • *2: for LHD

      Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the G1*1 or H1*2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the H2*1 or G2*2 power window regulator switch assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.


      • *1: for RHD

      • *2: for LHD
