WINDOW DEFOGGER SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disconnect the F42 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      F42-1 (IG+) - F42-14 (GND) V - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V

      F42-21 (B) - F42-14 (GND) BE - W-B Battery power source Always 11 to 14 V

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      • If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning amplifier assembly may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Auto Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disconnect the F40 air conditioning control assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      F40-8 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F40-5 (IG+) - F40-8 (GND) V - BR Ignition power supply Ignition switch off Below 1 V

      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the air conditioning control assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      • If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning control assembly may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK NO. 3 HEATER CONTROL KNOB (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

    1. Disconnect the F37 No. 3 heater control knob connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

    3. Reconnect the No. 3 heater control knob connector.

    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.
