UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005L4M

      Remove the 3 <F> screws and the No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly with No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT


    1. A005LEP

      Remove the 2 clips and the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct from No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. A005HS6

      Remove the No. 1 instrument panel cushions.

      Note

      Always replace the No. 1 instrument panel cushion with a new one.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. A005LM6

      Remove the 2 No. 2 instrument panel cushions.

      Note

      Always replace the No. 2 instrument panel cushion with a new one.

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. A005MJP

      Remove the 2 instrument panel cushions.

      Note

      Always replace the instrument panel cushion with a new one.
