  1. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the a1 sliding roof drive gear assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      a1-2 - Body ground B-W - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      a1-7 - a1-2 G - B-W Sliding roof motor open Open switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      a1-7 - a1-2 G - B-W Sliding roof motor open Open switch on Below 1 Ω
      a1-9 - a1-2 L - B-W Sliding roof motor close Close switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      a1-9 - a1-2 L - B-W Sliding roof motor close Close switch on Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the a1 sliding roof drive gear assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      a1-1 - a1-2 R-W - B-W +B power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      a1-5 - a1-2 R - B-W Power supply Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      a1-5 - a1-2 R - B-W Power supply Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the meter may have a malfunction.
