FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Click here.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the front seat assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER (for Lever Type Parking Brake)

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear console box cover.

  5. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX COVER (for Pedal Type Parking Brake)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear console box cover.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER TRAY (for Lever Type Parking Brake)


    1. A005HTZ

      Remove the 2 instrument panel cup holder trays.

  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER TRAY (for Pedal Type Parking Brake)


    1. A005HRP

      Remove the instrument panel cup holder tray.

  8. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Lever Type Parking Brake)


    1. A005HOP

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A005KYW

      Disengage the 4 guides and slide the rear console box assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.

  9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Pedal Type Parking Brake)


    1. A005HTL

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A005K1F

      Disengage the 4 guides and slide the rear console box assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to remove it.

  10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CUP HOLDER (for Pedal Type Parking Brake)

      Remove the 2 console box cup holders from the rear console box.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. A005M4S

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 console box mounting bracket.

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. A005HTP

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 console box mounting bracket.
