HEATER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

3. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

4. REMOVE TURBOCHARGER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

5. DISCONNECT SUCTION TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

6. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

7. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER INLET HOSE

   

   
   

   1. Slide the clip and disconnect the heater water inlet hose from the air conditioning unit.

8. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER INLET HOSE B

   

   
   

   1. Slide the clip and disconnect the heater water inlet hose B from the air conditioning unit.

9. REMOVE BOOSTER VACUUM TUBE

   

   
   

   1. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses.

   2. Remove the 2 bolts and the booster vacuum tube.

10. REMOVE ECM

    Click here

11. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    

    
    

    1. Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the engine room main wire.

12. REMOVE HEATER AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. Disconnect the connectors.

       

    2. Remove the 4 nuts and heater and accessory assembly.

       Note

       Do not damage the heater and accessory when removing the heater and accessory assembly.
