CONDENSER(for 1ND-TV) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY


    1. A005LMX

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Engage the 2 claws.

    4. A005JGW

      Install the condenser with radiator assembly into the vehicle, and then engage the clamp.

      Note

      Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when installing.

      Tech Tips

      If a new cooler condenser assembly is installed, add compressor oil to the cooler condenser assembly as follows.

      Capacity
      Add 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz.)
      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL8 or equivalent

    5. Tighten the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. CONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A


    1. Remove the attached vinyl tape from the tube and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Apply sufficient compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the tube joint.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL8 or equivalent

    3. Install the O-ring onto the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

    4. Install the liquid tube sub-assembly A onto the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  3. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE


    1. Remove the attached vinyl tape from the hose and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Apply sufficient compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the hose joint.

      Compressor oil
      ND-OIL8 or equivalent

    3. Install the O-ring onto the discharge hose.

    4. Install the discharge hose onto the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  4. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

  5. CONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

  6. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. INSTALL CENTER ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  10. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER

    Click here

  12. INSPECT HOOD

    Click here

  13. ADJUST HOOD

    Click here

  14. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Torque:
    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  16. CHARGE REFRIGERANT

  17. WARM UP ENGINE

  18. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

  19. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK
