PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  7. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO RESISTER DUCT

  9. REMOVE CENTER HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

  10. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

  11. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Air Duct)

  12. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 AIR DUCT (w/ Rear Air Duct)

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. A005MFR

      Remove the nut and 3 screws and remove the blower unit.

  23. REMOVE AIR FILTER CASE

      Pinch portions indicated by arrows to disengage the claws and remove the air filter case.

  24. REMOVE CLEAN AIR FILTER

      Remove the clean air filter from the blower unit.

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A005LAP

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 air duct sub-assembly.
