PROCEDURE
REMOVE DEFROSTER DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)

Align defroster damper control cable sub-assembly in the FACE position.
Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the defroster damper control cable sub-assembly.
REMOVE AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Air Conditioning System)
Align air mix damper control cable sub-assembly in the MAX COOL position.

Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the air mix damper control cable sub-assembly.
REMOVE MODE DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)
Remove the 2 screws and mode damper servo sub-assembly.
REMOVE AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)
Remove the 2 screws and air mix damper servo sub-assembly.
REMOVE COOLER (DUCT SENSOR) THERMISTOR (for Engine Stop and Start System)
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cooler (duct sensor) thermistor.
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR DUCT
Disengage the 3 claws and remove the air duct.
REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT
Disengage the 3 claws and remove the air duct.
REMOVE ASPIRATOR PIPE (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)
Disengage the 2 claws and remove the aspirator pipe.
REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE HEATER RADIATOR UNIT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 3 claws and remove the clamp.
Remove the heater radiator unit sub-assembly from the air conditioning unit.
REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE
Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 hexagon bolts and detach the cooler expansion valve.
Remove the 2 O-rings from the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.
REMOVE DRAIN COOLER HOSE
Remove the drain cooler hose.
REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disengage the No. 1 cooler thermistor connector clamp.
Remove the 3 screws.
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower heater case.
Remove the No. 1 cooler evaporator sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER THERMISTOR
