FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY(for Front Passenger Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    CAUTION:

    Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Click here.

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    Tech Tips


    • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

    • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (w/o Seat Heater System)

      Remove the 4 clamps.

    2. A005IGT

      Remove the wire harness from the claw of the front seat cushion shield.

    3. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. A005KHK

      Disconnect the seat heater connector.

    2. Remove the 4 clamps.

    3. A005IGT

      Remove the wire harness from the claw of the front seat cushion shield.

    4. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt assembly.
