REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the rear seat cushion frame and the rear seatback frame could cause injuries to your hands.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE (for LH Side)


    1. A005LAR

      Connect the rear seat reclining control cable to the rear seat back frame sub-assembly LH.

    2. Engage the 7 clamps.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE (for RH Side)


    1. A005KFQ

      Connect the rear seat reclining control cable to the rear seat back frame sub-assembly RH.

    2. Engage the 5 clamps.

  3. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH


    1. A005LBM

      Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  4. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A005HGG

      Engage the claw and guide, install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  6. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH (for Leather Seat)

      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat back cover LH to the separate type rear seat back pad LH with 17 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.


      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  7. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER (for RH Side Leather Seat)

      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat back cover RH to the separate type rear seat back pad RH with 11 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.


      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear seat back cover with pad sub-assembly LH to the rear seat frame sub-assembly LH.

      Fasten the 2 fasteners.

      Pass the rear seat reclining control cable through the rear seat back cover with pad sub-assembly.

    4. Engage the hook.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the rear seat headrest assembly.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. A005HEF

      Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    2. Engage the 8 claws and install the 4 rear seat headrest supports (w/ Center Headrest).

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER


    1. A005H20

      Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat back cover.

    2. Close the cover.

  12. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG LH


    1. A005JUO

      Pass the rear seat reclining control cable through the No. 2 rear seat leg LH.

    2. Install the No. 2 rear seat leg LH with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  13. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG RH


    1. A005GL3

      Pass the rear seat reclining control cable through the No. 2 rear seat leg RH.

    2. Install the No. 2 rear seat leg RH with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH


    1. A005LLO

      Engage the 3 guides and install the No. 2 rear seat reclining cover LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the No. 2 rear seat reclining cover LH.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

      Engage the claws and guide, install the rear seat reclining cover RH.

    2. Install the screw.

  17. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 5 guides and install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A005GJH

      Connect the rear seat reclining control cable to the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly.

    2. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly LH.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH


    1. A005MBU

      Engage the guide and claw, install the rear seat lock striker cover LH.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  22. INSTALL NO. 4 RECLINING LINK COVER LH

      Engage the 5 claws and guide, install the No. 4 reclining link cover LH.

  23. INSTALL NO. 4 RECLINING LINK COVER RH

  24. INSTALL NO. 3 RECLINING LINK COVER LH

      Engage the 6 claws and install the No. 3 reclining link cover LH.

  33. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Install the 2 spacers into the 2 bolts.

    2. Using "TORX" socket wrench T45, install the rear seat cushion assembly with 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  37. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER


    1. A005JZM

      Engage the 2 guides and claw, install the rear seat side hinge male cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  38. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Armrest)


    1. A005GI1

      Install the bush.

    2. A005I3V

      Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  39. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (w/ Center Armrest)


    1. A005IRY

      Engage the claw and 2 guides, install the center armrest hinge cover.

  40. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Push in the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear seat headrest assembly.

  41. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Headrest)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the rear seat headrest assembly.
