REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the rear seat cushion frame and the rear seatback frame could cause injuries to your hands.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Push in the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and remove the rear seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Headrest)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the rear seat headrest assembly.

  3. REMOVE CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (w/ Center Armrest)

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides, remove the center armrest hinge cover.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Center Armrest)

      Remove the bolt and the rear seat center armrest assembly.

    2. A005KF8

      Remove the bush.

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE HINGE MALE COVER

      *1 Protective Tape

      Using a screw driver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and the 2 guides, remove the rear seat side hinge male cover LH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

      *1 Spacer

      Using "TORX" socket wrench T45, remove the 2 bolts and 2 spacers.

    2. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for 3 Point Type Rear Center Seat Belt)

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for 2 Point Type Rear Center Seat Belt)

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Disengage the 18 hooks.

    2. A005IW1

      Remove the 2 hog rings and the rear seat cushion cover with pad sub-assembly LH.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A005LMI

      Disengage the 14 hooks.

    2. A005GEJ

      Remove the hog ring and the rear seat cushion cover with pad sub-assembly RH.

  11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER LH (for Leather Seat)


    1. A005KZ4

      Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type seat cushion cover LH.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER (for RH Side and for Leather Seat)

      Remove the 8 hog rings and separate type rear seat cushion cover.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 RECLINING LINK COVER LH


    1. A005LHI

      Disengage the 7 claws and remove the No. 1 reclining link cover LH.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 RECLINING LINK COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 RECLINING LINK COVER LH

      Disengage the 5 claws and guide, remove the No. 2 reclining link cover LH.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 RECLINING LINK COVER RH

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  17. REMOVE NO. 3 RECLINING LINK COVER LH

      Disengage the 6 claws and remove the No. 3 reclining link cover LH.

  18. REMOVE NO. 3 RECLINING LINK COVER RH

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  19. REMOVE NO. 4 RECLINING LINK COVER LH

      Disengage the 5 claws and guide, remove the No. 4 reclining link cover LH.

  20. REMOVE NO. 4 RECLINING LINK COVER RH

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and guide, remove the rear seat back lock striker cover.

  22. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK LOCK STRIKER COVER RH

  23. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Disconnect the rear seat reclining control cable and remove the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly.

  24. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  25. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH


    1. A005LLO

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 3 guides, remove the No. 2 rear seat reclining cover LH.

  26. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the No. 2 rear seat reclining cover LH.

  27. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide, remove the rear seat reclining cover RH.

  28. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH (for RH Side)

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 5 guides and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  29. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG LH


    1. A005JUO

      Remove the 4 bolts and the No. 2 rear seat leg LH.

    2. Pass the rear seat reclining control cable through the No. 2 rear seat leg LH.

  30. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG RH (for RH Side)

      Remove the 3 bolts and the No. 2 rear seat leg RH.

    2. Pass the rear seat reclining control cable through the No. 2 rear seat leg RH.

  31. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER


    1. A005H20

      Open the cover.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and the rear seat back cover.

  32. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. A005I3Q

      Disengage the hook.

    2. A005HGZ

      Unfasten the 2 fasteners.

    3. A005I41

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    4. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the 4 rear seat headrest support (w/ Center Headrest).

  33. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Pass the rear seat reclining control cable through the rear seat back cover with pad sub-assembly LH.

    2. Remove the rear seat back cover with pad sub-assembly LH from the rear seat back frame sub-assembly LH.

  34. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER WITH PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  35. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH (for Leather Seat)

      Remove the 17 hog rings.

    2. Remove the separate type rear seat back cover LH from the separate type rear seat back pad LH.

  36. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT BACK COVER (for RH Side Leather Seat)


    1. A005GTX

      Remove the 11 hog rings.

    2. Remove the separate type rear seat back cover RH from the separate type rear seat back pad RH.

  37. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. A005HGG

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide, remove the rear seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  38. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER (for RH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the rear seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  39. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH


    1. A005LBM

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  40. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE (for LH Side)


    1. A005LAR

      Disengage the 7 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the rear seat reclining control cable from the rear seat back frame sub-assembly LH.

  41. REMOVE REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE (for RH Side)

      Disengage the 5 clamps.

    2. Disconnect the rear seat reclining control cable from the rear seat back frame sub-assembly RH.
