FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT BACK SPRING ASSEMBLY


    1. A005MBZ

      Install the separate type front seat back spring assembly to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH


    1. A005K6Y

      Install the front seat cushion edge protector RH with the screw.

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH


    1. A005MEY

      Install the front seat cushion edge protector LH with the screw.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)


    1. A005HUE

      Engage the clip and install the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

    2. Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Engage the clip install the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

    2. Install the screw.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat lower cushion shield.

  7. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Leather Seat)

      *1 New Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 16 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the front seat cushion cover with pad to the front seat cushion spring assembly.

    2. A005MIF

      Engage the 9 hooks.

    3. A005KPV

      Engage the 2 hooks and install the front seat cushion cover with pad.

  9. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT BACK COVER (for Leather Seat)

      *1 New Hog Ring
      *2 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat back cover to the separate type front seat back pad with 6 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the front seat back cover with pad to the front seat back spring assembly.

      *3 Hog Ring Pliers

      Attach the fasten rubber (for Leather Seat).

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the 3 new hog rings (for Leather Seat).

      Using hog ring pliers, install the 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

      Engage the rubber band.

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT BACK ASSEMBLY (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)


    1. A005LI0

      Install the separate type front seat back assembly with 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    2. A005JLZ

      Engage the 2 hooks.

      *1 Wire Harness Band

      Attach the wire harness band.

    4. A005HNI

      Engage the 6 clamps.

    5. Engage the claw and attach the connector.

  13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A005GQB

      Engage the 2 guides and claw, install the front seat inner cushion shield.

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A005GFP

      Engage the guide, clip and 2 claws, install the front seat cushion shield with the screw.

  15. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)


    1. A005M70

      Engage the guide, install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

  16. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side and w/ Armrest)

      *1 Wave Washer
      *2 Plate Washer

      Install the front seat armrest assembly with the wave washer, plate washer and bolt.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 199 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

  18. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST COVER (for Driver Side and w/ Armrest)


    1. A005HQK

      Engage the 2 claws and install the seat armrest cover.

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT UNDER TRAY RAIL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side and w/ Under Tray)


    1. A005JJ7

      Install the front seat under tray rail sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT UNDER TRAY (for Front Passenger Side and w/ Under Tray)


    1. Install the front seat under tray.

  21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side and w/o Seat Heater System)
