FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT REAR LOWER INNER TRACK BRACKET

   
   

   1. Temporarily install the front seat rear lower inner track bracket with the 4 bolts.

   2. 

      Tighten the 4 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:

      31 N*m  { 316 kgf*cm, 23 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER FINISH PANEL

3. INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

   Click here

4. INSTALL NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

   Click here

5. INSTALL NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER

   Click here

6. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

   Click here

7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD

   Click here

8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

   Click here

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

   2. Make sure that the seat adjuster cover cap has been installed onto the front seat cushion spring assembly, then insert two location pins into the holes on the floor.

      Note

      If the front seat assembly is installed without attaching a seat adjuster cover cap to the front seat cushion spring assembly, abnormal noise may occur.

   3. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

   4. 

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:

      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

   5. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

   6. 

      Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:

      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT REAR OUTER TRACK COVER

    
    

    1. Engage the 2 claws and guide, install the front seat rear outer track cover.

11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. Install the front seat headrest assembly.

12. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

    Torque:

    5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
