FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY REMOVAL

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Press the headrest support button and pull up the front seat headrest assembly.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT REAR OUTER TRACK COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide, remove the front seat rear outer track cover.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    2. A005INP

      Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

    3. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

    4. A005JRK

      Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

    5. Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the center position.

      Also, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the seatback to the upright position.

    6. Detach the 2 location pins, remove the front seat assembly from the vehicle.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  8. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD CLUSTER

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD CLUSTER

    Click here

  11. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY

  12. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER FINISH PANEL

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT REAR LOWER INNER TRACK BRACKET

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and front seat rear lower inner track bracket.
